Barjaco Group AB is a growing group with operations in restaurant, service, and real estate-related projects. We operate and develop several restaurant units and continuously work on new establishments, renovations, and improvements in our existing operations.

We are now looking for a driven and self-sufficient project manager focused on restaurant construction, who wants to help develop our restaurant concepts and ensure quality in our units.

About the role

As a project manager at Barjaco Group AB, you will play a key role in our expansion and development. You will be responsible for planning, leading, and following up on construction and establishment projects related to our restaurants from idea to fully operational unit.

During quieter periods between projects, you will also visit our existing restaurants to check operations, follow up on routines, and ensure that our units meet the required standards.

Responsibilities

Your role will include, among other things:

• Driving and coordinating construction and renovation projects within the restaurant sector
• Planning the project's time, budget, and resources
• Communicating with contractors, suppliers, and authorities
• Ensuring that projects meet quality, work environment, and safety requirements
• Participating in procurement and purchasing related to construction and furnishings
• Supporting the establishment and startup of new restaurant units
• Conducting operational inspections and follow-ups in existing units
• Reporting status and results to management

We believe you are structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy juggling multiple tasks. You have a good ability to work independently but also to collaborate with various functions and external parties.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management within construction/renovation (preferably in a restaurant environment)
• Good understanding of construction processes, planning, and budgeting
• Experience working with suppliers and contractors
• Good computer skills (Excel, documentation, reporting)
• Driver's license (mandatory)
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in the restaurant industry or large kitchens
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, hygiene, and work environment
• Experience in establishing new businesses
