What does the job of a nursing assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care entail?As a nursing assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their old age. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the elderly person's individual needs. Tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It's a very exciting job!
About Gutasund elderly homeGutasund has 72 bright and modern apartments spread over four floors. On the fifth floor, we have staff facilities and an activity and yoga room. Gutasund is located next to Gottsunda center with proximity to nature. The local area offers a wide range of services, such as a pharmacy, grocery store, café, restaurants, shops, and a health center. The transportation links to Gutasund are good, and there is plenty of parking available.

With us, you can receive your salary and available shifts directly on your mobileAs a summer substitute with us, you will have access to Cappy – a smart app that gives you an overview of your working hours and salary. In the app, you can see worked hours, earned salary, preliminary salary payment, information about available shifts, and how much you can earn from an extra shift. With Cappy, there is also the possibility to withdraw part of your earned salary for extra shifts/hours immediately after completing a shift.
Who are we looking for?We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.
You should have a nursing assistant education with proof of protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
It is highly meritorious if you have experience in elderly care and can provide references from a previous employer.
Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.
Employment type: Summer substitute with a chance for permanent employment
Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment
Start date: May, June, July 2026
We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
