Thoraxcentrum provides highly specialized cardiac and lung surgical healthcare as well as care in the areas of invasive electrophysiology, pacemaker, ICD/CRT, invasive cardiology/PCI, and TAVI. Approximately 200 employees work in our care, intensive care, and radiology departments, as well as in outpatient and surgical services. We have a broad and varied work content and conduct both emergency and planned operations. We are a professional knowledge organization characterized by high quality of care, a willingness to develop, responsibility, and participation.

The Heart Clinic consists of specialized care in arrhythmia, heart failure, and coronary artery disease. The operations include pacemaker clinics, long-term ECG, heart failure clinics, and cardiac rehabilitation.

About the Job

We welcome you who are passionate about the nursing assistant profession and who always puts the patient at the center.

At the heart clinic, you will call patients for their own appointments for long-term ECG. Other common tasks you need to be able to assist with include taking samples and ECGs before doctor visits, phone time for rescheduling and canceling patients, as well as coordinating the daily patient flow. You will collaborate with various healthcare professionals in connection with the different patient visits at the clinic.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied according to previous or current program structures. You have good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. We consider it an advantage if you have several years of work experience as a nursing assistant and experience in cardiac care. Additionally, it is also an advantage if you have completed a course in emergency care.

We prefer that you have the ability to quickly shift focus and reprioritize your tasks under changing circumstances and in acute situations. As a person, you are confident in your professional role, responsible, and solution-oriented. Having an easy time learning new systems, having a technical interest, and enjoying responsibility is a big plus that we value highly. Since we work in teams, it is important that you have good collaboration skills, a humble approach, and promote an open work climate. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
