Licensed Nurse for Specialist Psychiatric Nursing Team
REGION NORRBOTTENNorrbottens län, Luleå

to apply for the job
The psychiatric field has begun a transition to Close Care, where we move care into the home, close to the patient. The clinic is currently designing a specialist psychiatric nursing team, SPOT.
We are looking for
We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of the most common Office programs and with strong skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. A B driver's license is also required. It is an advantage if you are a specialist nurse in psychiatry and/or have experience working in psychiatric care and treatment. Knowledge of record-keeping and additional language skills are also a plus.
What you will work with
Tasks included in the SPOT team may vary but can involve, for example, supportive conversations, behavioral observations, anxiety management, phone follow-ups, working in resource teams around patients with complex issues, follow-up of patients from inpatient care, support for patients during leave, family conversations, collaboration with care neighbors and municipalities. SPOT works on behalf of doctors from inpatient or outpatient care. SPOT is currently divided into three mobile teams with area divisions as follows:
Team 1, Acute team, collaboration with other emergency services (ambulance, police)
Team 2, Piteå – Arvidsjaur – Arjeplog
Team 3, Piteå – Älvsbyn
We are looking for staff for all teams! The purpose of the SPOT team is to provide more individualized nursing interventions in the home in an outpatient form instead of within inpatient care. The goal is to shorten the need for inpatient time for patients and to avoid admissions to inpatient care where the regular psychiatric outpatient level is not deemed sufficient. Care should be person-centered and adapted to the individual patient's needs, abilities, and well-being.
The target group for SPOT is patients within the Piteå adult psychiatry catchment area aged 18 and above, whose care level is greater than what the psychiatric outpatient care can offer in the regular operations, but who are still not deemed to need 24-hour inpatient care. SPOT will be available every day of the year. SPOT is a project that will be evaluated in the spring of 2025.
