Älvsbyn Health Center is a rural health center with about 40 employees. Our mission is multifaceted, and based on that, we are all an important cog in the operation.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine and who enjoys development and collaboration. You need to be attracted to the variation that exists in the operations of a health center. We expect you to prioritize good communication and actively work to develop relationships and be positive about the development of the operation. You work well in collaboration with others and contribute to a good work environment. An interest in education and supervision of training doctors and students is important. You must be authorized to work within Swedish healthcare and have knowledge of Swedish at a C1 level. Additional language skills are an advantage.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities, and as a person, you are self-driven, innovative, and structured. It is also important that you have a good overall perspective and see the benefit of collaborating with others.

This is what you will work with

As a General Practitioner at Älvsbyn Health Center, you will use your full competence and develop based on the diversity of patient cases. We work in teams, and our motto is together! In the assignment, you will meet patients of all ages with various health-related issues that are assessed and treated within the team. The work includes following patients' health problems over time and also considering the patient's life situation in the assessment. You will be responsible for a geographical area linked to our health center. Supervision of students, training doctors, and other employees at the health center is included in the assignment. We work with both physical and digital visits. We have a close collaboration with the municipality and its home care as well as care and nursing homes.

You will also be part of a team that has on-call duty at the emergency center at Piteå Hospital, currently about 2-3 shifts per month, which are distributed among all doctors at the health center.

Information about the position

The position is a permanent full-time employment and the working hours are scheduled during the day but with the possibility to influence your own schedule. Start date by agreement.
Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
