Hello! We are excited that you are interested in the nurse position with us in Luleå Municipality.

We are embarking on an exciting journey of change where our team is growing, and we aim to build a cohesive short-term care service for the future. The ultimate goal is to consolidate all short-term care services at Örnen in central Luleå, which is currently undergoing extensive renovations and is planned to open in the spring of 2027.

In the meantime, while Örnen is being completed, a temporary short-term care service will be operated with fixed relief places and standby places. The exact location has not yet been decided, as union negotiations and political decisions are still pending.

In this startup phase, we are looking for a nurse who wants to take an important and central role in the operation. You will initially be the sole nurse in the assignment, working closely with other professionals. When the short-term care service at Örnen opens, you will become part of a larger team of nurses and a growing operation with a clear structure and a shared way of working.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will have a stimulating and varied job with care responsibilities for patients in the short-term care service. You will work closely with various professional groups, both internally and externally.

Your role includes, among other things:

• planning, implementing, and following up care interventions
• being responsible for documentation according to applicable legislation
• managing medications
• delegating and following up on delegated tasks
• mentoring and supporting care staff and patients

Qualifications

You who are applying should have a genuine interest and commitment to working with patients who have physical and mental disabilities.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse
• has good medical competence
• has good digital competence
• holds a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

• professional experience from working in healthcare and social services
• completed a specialist education focusing on district nursing or elderly care
