Pajala Municipality is looking for staff for the Midnight Sun Day Activity for the Elderly

Pajala Municipality is the large (in area) small municipality located in the land of the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun – Tornedalen, in eastern Norrbotten. Day and night, all year round, we work in the service of the community on behalf of the citizens. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At the Midnight Sun Day Activity for the Elderly, we aim to stimulate community and meaningful activities while working to increase self-esteem and joy of life. An important task is to create conditions for a pleasant environment and organize various activities based on the guests' different needs.

We want to create a meaningful existence based on individual needs through everyday activities where you as an employee play a crucial role. We prefer that you have experience working in day activities or rehabilitation.

We are looking for someone who is calm, secure, and has the ability to plan the activities of the work shifts. You are responsible and can work independently as well as in a group. Personal suitability is highly valued.

The Midnight Sun Day Activity is open during the day, Monday to Friday, and caters to elderly residents who want activity and social community.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proof of protected professional title for nursing assistants from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from a previous employer confirming that you had a permanent position as a nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023.
• Experience in care and nursing work is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good reading comprehension.
