Cultural Developer at Tomelilla Municipality

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a cultural developer in Tomelilla Municipality, your task will be to develop the conditions for culture in civil society and within the municipal organization. Your work in the cultural field should strengthen the municipality as an attractive place for residents, visitors, and cultural practitioners. Your role will be to find new opportunities to support and highlight the local cultural life where cultural associations, cultural creators, study associations, and local businesses in the cultural industries are important actors. You will work closely with leisure coordinators.
You will work strategically but primarily operationally with your own arrangements, planning, meetings, and collaborations both internally and externally. You will also work with annual recurring co-arrangements within the Culture and Leisure activities. Events and meetings scheduled for evenings and weekends are a natural part of your work.
Your tasks include applying for external funding and following up and evaluating completed activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have an education in culture, project management, or another education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
You have experience working in the cultural field in municipal or other public administration and an understanding of what it means to work with cultural issues in a politically governed organization. You have good knowledge, understanding, and interest in the conditions, challenges, and significance of cultural life for society.
As a person, you should have the ability to create and maintain good relationships with people of all ages and different backgrounds. You have the ability to work independently and are a good organizer who can structure and plan your work. You are flexible and solution- and result-oriented.
Requirement for a B driver's license.
