About the Position

We are currently looking for an accounting assistant for an assignment with our client in Malmö. The position starts as a consulting assignment through us at Poolia, with a good opportunity for direct employment with the client for the right person. This is a perfect opportunity for you who want to get to know the company, the team, and the role – with a view to something long-term. The position starts immediately according to agreement, is full-time, and is located in central Malmö.

Your Main Responsibilities

You will be an important part of the finance department and work broadly with both administrative and more qualified financial tasks. The department consists of a finance manager and a payroll administrator, as well as you in the role of accounting assistant. The role is broad with a mix of operational work as an accounting assistant responsible for accounts payable to administration and the opportunity for more advanced tasks within finance.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Registration and coding of supplier invoices
• Registration of payment files
• Accounts payable
• Administration related to sales
• Customer invoicing
• Contact with customers and suppliers
• Support during audits
• Intrastat reporting
• Mail handling and other office tasks

There is room to grow into heavier financial tasks for those who want and can.

You have a good understanding of accounting and have worked with finance in a company of similar size (approximately 200 million SEK in revenue). You thrive in an environment where not everything is black and white, and where change is a natural part of the job.
