We are now looking for a sustainability consultant focused on climate adaptation for our area of expertise Climate & biodiversity, based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö.
The position is 100%, with a permanent contract and collective agreement. The position is suitable for you who have at least 3–5 years of relevant qualified work experience.
Responsibilities
Analysis of climate-related risks and vulnerabilities at property, operational, and community levels
Conducting climate risk and vulnerability assessments (CRVA)
GIS-based analyses, modeling, and map production
Conducting climate adaptation studies and prioritization of measures
Conducting BIF (biodiversity and ecosystem impact assessments)
Integrating climate adaptation into strategy, investment, planning, and governance
Training, workshops, and decision support for management, organizations, and clients
Project management and client responsibility in strategic assignments
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a strong commitment to climate issues and enjoys working analytically, structured, and business-oriented. You have a good ability to translate complex data and analysis into strategic decision support.
Relevant academic education in climate, environment, geography, urban planning, ecosystem science, or equivalent
At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience in climate adaptation, climate risk, or related fields
Very good competence in GIS and geodata analysis
Experience in climate risk and vulnerability assessments, with documented application within municipalities, regions, or other public administration
Competence to conduct BIF and ecosystem-related analyses
Understanding of the connection between climate, biodiversity, community structure, and business risk
Experience working with planning, design, and implementation of technical and physical climate adaptation measures in built environments, infrastructure, or landscapes
Meritorious with experience working with EU regulations, the EU taxonomy, CSRD, or similar frameworks
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
