We are looking for a nursing assistant

We are looking for you with nursing assistant training who wants a meaningful and varied job with the opportunity to make a difference every day. You will work with various tasks within care and support based on a salutogenic approach.

We who work in elderly care in Härjedalen Municipality strive to offer a safe and stimulating environment for our care recipients.

The position also includes evening and weekend shifts. Start date is 2026-03-23 or by agreement.

Job Responsibilities

• Support users in their daily lives; for example, through personal care, assistance during meals, laundry, medication management, transfers, and rehabilitation.
• Be an important link between different care providers and relatives.
• Take full responsibility for the services to be provided during a work shift.

If needed, you may also work in other units within elderly care.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title.

Desirable:

• Experience from working in short-term care, specialized training in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or palliative care.

Preferred:

• Experience with the documentation systems VIVA and Cosmic.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
