Thoraxcentrum has a broad and varied work content and conducts both acute and planned activities.

Round-the-clock operations are available for coronary angiography/PCI treatment as well as for thoracic surgery. We are a professional knowledge organization characterized by high quality of care, a willingness to develop, responsibility, and participation. The clinic's mission is to provide the residents of Blekinge, Kronoberg, and to some extent Skåne access to highly specialized cardiology, which includes heart and lung surgery, highly specialized and specialized care in the areas of invasive electrophysiology, pacemaker, ICD/CRT, invasive cardiology/PCI, and TAVI. The catchment area for the highly specialized care corresponds to approximately 330,000 inhabitants.

We have over 200 employees at the clinic working in one or more units: ward, heart clinic, surgery, intensive care, and radiology. The goal is to create individual opportunities for skill enhancement and development as well as the opportunity to conduct research and advancement within the clinic. The clinic also has an Instruction Nurse who contributes to continuing education and development for all staff categories.

About the Job

The heart clinic is physically located in both Karlshamn and Karlskrona, which is an important part of cardiological care. The heart clinic is a specialist clinic where we also work with secondary prevention, education, and follow-up. In Karlshamn, there is also clinical physiology and lifestyle medicine clinic. Development is an important part of the work, and a lot of focus is placed on making care accessible to patients, where callbacks and remote contacts are a significant part.

The tasks at the heart clinic involve independent work that occurs in collaboration with colleagues during patient visits, remote/telephone contact, telephone counseling, and administrative work such as sending invitations, etc.

Applicants who are considered for employment must present an extract from the Police Authority's criminal record before employment.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience from outpatient care, which is meritorious.

You are a responsible person who can independently plan, lead, and complete processes within your area at the clinic. Teamwork is a significant and important part of the clinic's working method, and therefore it is essential to have very good collaboration skills and humility towards others' competencies. You should also be able to communicate in a natural, pedagogical, and effective manner with different target groups in both speech and writing.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
