We at Attendo are looking for nursing assistants and care assistants for Attendo Nissastrand in Halmstad. The residence is located by Nissan, an 8-minute walk from the travel center.

Attendo Nissastrand is a centrally located special accommodation for people aged 65+. 72 apartments divided into 42 apartments focused on somatic care and 30 apartments for people with dementia diseases.

About the role

As a nursing assistant/care assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a big part of your role, as well as being able to contribute with various activities that brighten the everyday life of our elderly.

Your tasks include, among other things

• Personal care according to the organization's routines based on the customer's individual needs and wishes

• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.

• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions.

• Work according to the resident's individual implementation plan.

• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as relatives, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and guardians

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)

• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

• Minimum 18 years old

• Sense of responsibility, empathy, and good cooperation skills

• Ability to understand instructions from and perform delegated tasks from licensed personnel

Meritorious

• Experience from care work in elderly care

• Experience in delegation

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 credits

• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant

• Driving license B
