About the Role

As a reinforcement worker with a good ability to read blueprints and experience in concrete work, you will be part of a construction team and contribute to projects from preparation to completion. You will work both independently and together with colleagues to ensure quality, safety, and timelines. The role is practical and suits those who enjoy craftsmanship and precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform reinforcement work according to construction drawings and instructions.

• Attach, bend, and assemble reinforcement steel and prepare casting surfaces.

• Ensure that reinforcement and anchors comply with construction drawings and prescribed tolerances.

• Collaborate with the concrete team during casting and ensure correct placement and protection of reinforcement.

• Conduct ongoing self-checks and report deviations to the supervisor.

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Participate in loading, unloading, and handling materials on the job site.

Qualifications

• Experience as a reinforcement worker or equivalent practical experience in reinforcement and concrete work.

• Good ability to read and understand construction and work drawings.

• Knowledge of materials, types of reinforcement, and correct assembly methods.

• Understanding of safety regulations and use of personal protective equipment.

• Driver's license class B

• Good Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious

• Vocational certificate or relevant education in construction.

• Experience working on larger concrete or prefabrication projects.

• Familiarity with applicable industry standards and regulations for concrete structures.

• Experience reading more complex drawings in CAD format or similar.

Working Hours and Employment Type

• Fixed-term employment, 6 months (Full-time)

• Varied working hours: Daytime, evening, and 2-shift work may occur (Mon-Fri)
