Scandinavian Pile Driving SPD AB develops and manufactures advanced drilling and piling equipment for the highest precision and efficiency in modern foundation projects. We are in an expansive phase and now need to strengthen our operations with an assembler.

About the role

As an assembler with us, you will be an important cog in the production of drilling and piling equipment. You will work independently or in a team depending on the nature of the project. We are a relatively small company, and you will be a clear part of the entire process. We value craftsmanship and ensure that you have the right conditions to do a safe and professional job.

Production takes place at our facility in Sala.

Responsibilities

The position includes module assembly and/or final assembly of our machines, where you will handle the assembly of mechanics, hydraulics, and electronic components.

Support during final inspection and service before delivery is also a natural part of the job.

The work involves internal contacts and collaboration with the support functions within production as well as the company's designers.

Qualifications

The work requires reading technical drawings and the ability to understand technical instructions, and to succeed in this position, we believe you have documented previous experience in one of the areas of expertise: mechanics or hydraulics.

We primarily seek individuals with experience in mechanical work in some form, such as mechanics in vehicles/construction machinery, repair technicians, assemblers, or similar.

We prefer that you have a technical interest, are practically inclined, appreciate order and tidiness, and have good teamwork skills. Good proficiency in Swedish is required, both spoken and written.

Forklift and overhead crane training is a plus.
