As a lathe operator for our client in Västerås, you will work with the processing of metal parts on lathes and CNC machines. The tasks include setting up and monitoring machines, tool changes, quality control, as well as simple measurement and documentation of produced components. You will be part of a production team where the focus is on accuracy, safety, and efficiency. The role requires you to work independently but also in a team to maintain delivery and quality goals.

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and accustomed to maintaining a consistent and stable quality in their work. You are solution-oriented, have a good sense of order, and enjoy both independent tasks and teamwork. Since production may require varying working hours, we appreciate your flexibility and positive attitude towards shift work when needed.

• Good experience in turning, preferably with CNC

• Knowledge in measurement and reading technical drawings

• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• Driver's license B and access to a car is an advantage

• Experience with FANUC/Siemens or similar control systems

• Education in manufacturing or mechanical engineering

• Forklift license A/B or other relevant forklift experience

• Overhead crane license
