We are looking for a caring and experienced nursing assistant with a warm heart and a genuine commitment to people. In this role, the daily care work in home care is combined with a special responsibility for hygiene.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you play a central role in our customers' lives. Your tasks vary based on each individual's needs but may include:

• Personal care - assisting with personal hygiene and dressing and undressing.

• Social support & conversation - creating security through presence, conversation, and care.

• Supervision & support as needed – providing support during e.g., transfers, meals, and other situations that require extra attention, as well as contributing to making the customer's everyday life easier.

• Documentation - carefully documenting the support and care you provide, in accordance with assistance decisions and implementation plans.

• Emergency alarms – quickly responding to urgent needs from customers who have alerted. We work on behalf of the municipality of Österåker and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:30. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.

In addition, you will have extended responsibilities:

• Hygiene representative – staying updated on current hygiene routines, spreading knowledge to colleagues, and being a role model in daily work to ensure a safe and infection-free care environment.

We are looking for someone who shares our view that care is done with the heart – and who also wants to contribute to structure and comfort in the team. To succeed in this role, we hope you have:

• Nursing assistant education – you have a recognized education and preferably previous experience in home care.

• Fluent in Swedish – you speak and write fluent Swedish and have a good ability to document according to current routines.

• Driving license B – you are a safe and experienced driver, which is required in our work out with customers.

• Bicycle experience - you are a confident cyclist.

• Responsible & stress-resistant – you see the big picture, plan your work, take initiative, and handle pressured situations calmly and decisively.

• Independent & cooperative – you enjoy working independently but also like to collaborate with colleagues when the situation requires it.

• Empathetic & communicative – you have a genuine desire to help, are attentive to different needs, and find it easy to communicate with both customers and colleagues.

• Flexible, solution-oriented & meticulous – you are used to a changing work environment, work structured with high quality awareness, and take responsibility for your work.

• Digitally skilled – you have experience using mobile phones and documenting in digital systems.

Working hours: Monday-Friday (07:00 - 15:30) Employment rate: 80-100% Employment type: permanent, with a 6-month probationary period Location: you will start from our office in Åkersberga and work within the municipality of Österåker.
