Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• Wants to work with a 13-year-old girl living in Järna

• Is smoke-free

• Can tolerate pets

• Has good physical condition

It is also advantageous if you:

• Have experience in similar work

• Have experience with communication using pictures, picture schedules, and TAKK

• Are active and social.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 25-30%. The job involves working in the evenings.

Working hours:

• Week 1: Monday 15:00–20:00 and Friday 14:00–20:00.

• Week 2: Monday 15:00–20:00 and Sunday 08:00–17:00

There are good opportunities to work extra when regular staff are absent.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that confirm your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
