Group Leader for Vista Support Housing, Acute & Investigation

Do you want to lead an engaged team that makes a real difference for people in need of support every day?
We are now looking for a secure, experienced, and structured group leader for one of our support housing facilities for adults with harmful use and dependency. With us, you will have a meaningful role where you both lead the operations closely with employees and contribute to development that enables our residents to have better conditions in life.

About the operation

Our housing has three assignments where the support housing part offers a safe living environment with a focus on motivational work, recovery, and support in creating a more stable everyday life. The other parts of the housing consist of an investigation section where the task is to assist the Authority for Harmful Use and Dependency, and where we conduct assessments regarding the individual's needs. Vista also receives adults with harmful use and/or dependency who have become acutely homeless, and the task is to establish initial contact with authorities for further planning. We work with low-arousal approaches, harm reduction, individually tailored support, and close collaboration with healthcare, social services, and other actors.

Your responsibilities

As a group leader, you have a central role in creating a functioning and professional everyday life at the housing. You will:

- Lead and distribute the operational work daily together with the employees
- Be a support in methodological issues, interaction, and structure in the team's work
- Ensure quality and compliance in implementation plans and documentation
- Create safety and participation for the residents through a present leadership
- Collaborate internally and externally with other units and actors
- Participate in operational development, routine work, and follow-up
- Work both operationally in the business and with management assignments according to agreements with the results unit manager

Requirements:
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education relevant to the assignment, e.g., social pedagogue, treatment assistant, behavioral scientist, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- At least 10 years of experience in social work within harmful use/dependency, social psychiatry, or related fields
- Good knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL) and applicable guidelines
- At least 5 years of experience in leading, mentoring, or coordinating workgroups
- Good ability to structure, prioritize, and communicate clearly
- Confidence in meeting people in vulnerable life situations
- A valid driver's license (B)

Meritorious:
- Training in evidence-based methods in the field; e.g., MI, CRA, ÅP, CM/RACT, LAB, ASI, and domestic violence, etc.
- Experience in working and leading in operations for people in acute homelessness
