Specialist Nursing Assistant at Solängen

Solängen is a newly opened care and nursing home with 20 places in special housing and 20 places in respite care/short-term care. One of our most important tasks is to provide our residents with a meaningful, safe, and active everyday life.

Job Responsibilities

As a specialist nursing assistant at Solängen, your role, in addition to the usual tasks of a nursing assistant, is to support and guide your colleagues in their daily work based on your advanced knowledge. With your specialist competence, you work towards the development of the organization and contribute to improvements within the unit. You will also have the opportunity to develop yourself by working in different areas of responsibility.

We work in teams, and to support your role, you have your nursing assistant colleagues along with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained specialist nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on acute care or dementia.

You have experience working in a rehabilitative and motivational manner. Experience in elderly care, close care, and respite care is an advantage.

To succeed in this role, you need to be familiar with documentation and have experience with IT tools such as computers and tablets. It is also important that you have a good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are flexible, easy to collaborate with, and have a fundamental sense of service. Your approach is characterized by professionalism and working based on the individual needs of the residents.

Conditions

Permanent employment, 100%, working hours day-evening-weekend. Start date as soon as agreed.
