JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform care tasks such as personal care, assisting and supporting with personal hygiene, assisting and supporting with transfers, cleaning, and meal assistance. Perform service tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

You are expected to document in the current data system, as well as receive and give reports, both written and orally.

The work can be physically demanding, and good physical fitness is required to perform the job well.

Working in healthcare and social services means being a support for the care recipient in their daily life. The support is designed together with the care recipient and is based on their needs. Our approach is based on respect for human self-determination and integrity.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are calm, secure, and have an easy time collaborating with others. You have a professional approach to care recipients, colleagues, and management characterized by respect, humility, and empathy. You have a flexible working style that contributes to a good work environment.

Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.

For certain positions, a B driver's license and the ability to cycle are required.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Meritorious:

• Experience in care work and relevant education
• Ability to work the entire summer period from June to August
• Completed online training Dementia ABC, Demenscentrum.se

Minimum age of 18 years at the start of the substitute position.

Conditions

Varied working hours with schedules for day and evening or night shifts and every other weekend. Temporary employment as a summer substitute during the period of June, July, and August.

Alternatively: Hourly substitute where you are expected to continuously indicate availability in the Time Care Pool system to show when you can work. You will be booked for shifts via SMS and should be able to report to the workplace within 30 minutes of receiving a booking, so you should have arranged childcare. You should have availability for at least four weekend shifts and at least eight other availability times during a month.

Even those already employed as hourly substitutes within Arboga Municipality are encouraged to submit an application for a summer substitute position.
