Are you a technically skilled and self-driven buyer with experience in electronics? Do you have a strong drive and want to take ownership of strategic purchasing processes in a high-tech environment? We are looking for an analytical and business-oriented buyer who wants to play a key role in optimizing our supply chain and ensuring competitive purchasing strategies.

With us, you will work independently with strategic and tactical purchasing, with a particular focus on electronics and high mix/low volume production. You will drive improvement initiatives, build long-term supplier relationships, and influence our purchasing decisions in an industry where technology is rapidly evolving.

Your responsibilities as a Strategic Buyer

• Develop and implement strategies for purchasing electronic components and technical materials.

• Identify, evaluate, and establish collaborations with suppliers in a global market.

• Negotiate contracts and ensure delivery reliability, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

• Analyze the market and drive change initiatives to optimize purchasing processes.

• Collaborate with operational buyers and other internal functions to ensure effective material flows.

Who are you?

We are looking for a results-oriented buyer with strong analytical skills and technical understanding of electronics production. You thrive in working independently, taking initiative, and being in a dynamic environment.

For this position, we place great emphasis on personal qualities and suitability.

You have:

• A relevant education in purchasing, economics, logistics, or engineering, or equivalent experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in strategic and tactical purchasing, preferably within the electronics industry or EMS.

• Experience in managing complex supply chains and negotiating with suppliers.

• Good system proficiency and experience working in ERP systems, preferably Business Central.

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have experience in purchasing for high mix/low volume production and knowledge of electronic components and production processes within the EMS industry.

The position is located at one of our sites: Kumla or Sandviken and will report to the Purchasing Manager at Syntronic Production Services.
