About the Unit

The Security Intelligence Department (SÄKU) falls under Must's Security Office (SÄKK) and works to indicate, clarify, and counter security-threatening activities, as well as to conduct defense intelligence operations related to security-threatening actors. A large part of the work at SÄKU is focused on foreign states' intelligence activities directed against Sweden and Swedish interests, with particular emphasis on foreign intelligence activities directed against the Armed Forces.

Main Tasks

You will be part of one of the department's sections. In your work, you will lead, coordinate, and develop activities carried out at the department. An important part of the work is collaboration with other units internally within the department, Must, the Armed Forces, and other authorities. You will also lead individual projects and cases.

Qualifications

• Academic, military, or police education.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
• Experience in operational planning, operational follow-up, and coordination of activities.
• Experience in relevant positions at workplaces such as Must, FRA, the Security Police, the Police, FOI, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration, or the Government Offices, or other workplaces that the employer deems equivalent.

Meritorious

• Several years of experience in conducting intelligence and/or security work at an authority.
• Good knowledge of the Armed Forces.
• Experience in a supervisory position.

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are proactive, responsible, structured, and have the ability to coordinate, lead, and make decisions. You have good judgment and a high awareness of security and confidentiality. The work places high demands on the ability to build and maintain good relationships, and you need to be unpretentious, have good social skills, and be collaborative. The work also requires a very good ability to switch between long-term work and work with short timeframes under high tempo.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability.

The qualifications mentioned above must be verifiable upon request through certificates, references, and work or selection tests.
