Your new assignment
The role of investigator at the Education Administration primarily involves being the main responsible for the handling of complaints in primary schools. The principal has a legal obligation to promptly receive and investigate complaints (School Act Chapter 4 §8). The work involves professionally and impartially managing incoming complaints, guided by the child's perspective. It also includes compiling, following up, and analyzing complaints as part of the principal's systematic quality work. In the work of investigating complaints, you will have a close colleague to collaborate with.
As an investigator, you will also conduct and compile other investigations at the request of the primary school's management team. This includes producing factual material, reports, statistics, and service documents for decisions, handling referrals, preparing cases for the board, and collaborating with other administrations and external actors. Other forms of administrative work may occur periodically.

As an investigator, you will be part of the Student Health Unit at the Education Administration in the City Hall in Huskvarna. The unit has over 40 employees consisting of student health professionals, coordinators in various areas such as quality, collaboration with children and youth, school attendance, adapted schooling, etc. It is a dynamic unit with a good climate and many competent colleagues to collaborate and work with!
Your qualifications
We are looking for someone who has an academic degree of at least 180 credits in areas such as pedagogy, public administration, social sciences, law, or another area deemed relevant by the employer. It is an advantage if you have worked in the education sector, have good knowledge of school legislation, and experience in investigative, analytical, and development work.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing. You can work independently but also have good collaborative skills. You are judicious and confident in professional assessments. You are also meticulous and structured, and accustomed to working with complex and time-critical assignments.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
