Specialist Dental Care Region Sörmland has two clinics for periodontology and is now looking for a periodontist for Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna as our skilled periodontist is moving on within the company to become clinic manager. Specialist Dental Care at Mälarsjukhuset is accessible with about an hour's commute, both by car and train from Stockholm, Örebro, and Västerås.

Specialist Dental Care at Mälarsjukhuset is one of our largest clinics, and today about 45 employees work in the departments of periodontology, oral prosthetics, dental physiology, pedodontics, orofacial medicine, oral surgery, oral radiology, and endodontics. Within the company, we have two periodontists with whom you collaborate via Teams or in-person meetings. Additionally, we have two senior and highly competent dental hygienists who contribute to our excellent results in periodontal treatments.

Every week, we hold interdisciplinary meetings where all disciplines participate to discuss various patient cases. This is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge from experienced colleagues in treatment planning.

Our facilities have been completely renovated with state-of-the-art equipment, including four new operating rooms. We care about enabling dentists, hygienists, dental nurses, or receptionists to further their education to provide highly specialized dental care to the residents of Sörmland. Several of our dental nurses have further educated themselves within their discipline. We also conduct specialist training in oral radiology, oral prosthetics, oral surgery, and orofacial medicine.

Through our close collaboration with the Center for Clinical Research Sörmland, there are opportunities for those interested in research. We currently have two doctoral students in oral prosthetics conducting award-winning projects.
