About us

The Emergency Clinic in Region Sörmland consists of an Emergency Care Department and an Emergency Department. The Emergency Department receives over 31,000 patients annually and is staffed by nurses and nursing assistants in its own right, while doctors are provided by our collaborating clinics. Our mission is to offer residents safe and professional emergency care around the clock, every day of the year. We receive patients with time-critical conditions, initiate stabilization of vital functions, and conduct necessary examinations to identify acute care needs and the appropriate level of care. Throughout the patient's stay, we are responsible for ensuring that they receive safe and adequate care.

Your responsibilities

As the unit manager, you have overall responsibility for operations, staff, finances, and working environment. You lead and organize the daily work with the patient's best interests in focus and drive the development of the department together with your colleagues.

Your role includes:

• leading and developing the operations in both operational and strategic matters
• ensuring a good working environment and a sustainable working method
• being responsible for patient safety and quality work
• creating engagement, participation, and good communication within the team
• collaborating with other units and clinics to strengthen the acute flow

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and a manager who is present in the operations and who motivates, inspires, and builds trust. Together we work to develop the emergency department and create the best possible conditions for both patients and staff.

Your qualifications

We are looking for you who are:

• a licensed nurse
• documented experience in healthcare, preferably with leadership experience
• preferably with experience in emergency care, this is meritorious
• educated in leadership and management

As a leader, you are secure, stable, and have the ability to switch between operational and strategic work. You create engagement and participation through a communicative and collaborative approach. You plan and organize work in a structured way and drive change together with your colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
