About us

We are a smaller care department with 12 beds where we provide planned surgical care. Our main activities include hip and knee replacements, as well as urology, stoma placements, hernia, and gallbladder surgeries.

The department operates around the clock from Monday to Friday. Here, you will encounter an open and family-like work climate where we care for each other.

Our interdisciplinary team consists of care leaders, nurses, nursing assistants, and orthopedic coordinators, and we work closely with doctors, outpatient clinics, surgical planners, operations/UVA, and paramedicine. Here, you will become part of an experienced and supportive team where we learn from each other and develop together.

Your responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will work with:

• Pre- and post-operative care
• Pain management and mobilization
• Leading and supporting daily patient care

You will focus on the patient and actively contribute to safe, secure, and person-centered care.

Your qualifications

• Licensed nurse, preferably with experience in inpatient care
• Experience in orthopedics or surgery is an advantage but not a requirement
• You are responsible, calm, and have a good demeanor
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
