As a summer substitute, you will work in our clients' own homes, providing care and support based on assistance decisions and individual implementation plans. You contribute to safety, continuity, and quality of life for our clients while covering for regular staff who are on vacation. With us, you will have an independent and varied job with many social contacts, and you will become part of an engaged team that always focuses on the client and quality.

The job is suitable for you who enjoy responsibility, variety, and meeting people, and who want to gain valuable experience in care and support.

The tasks vary based on the clients' needs and may include:

• Personal care – assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and daily routines

• Social support – companionship, conversation, supervision, and reassuring presence

• Meals – support with preparation, serving, and dining

• Practical support in daily life – shopping, errands, and simple household chores

• Accompaniment – helping clients to, for example, doctors or activities outside the home

• Documentation – document performed actions according to applicable routines

• Emergency alarms – quickly respond to urgent needs from clients who have triggered an alarm. We work on behalf of Oxelösund municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:00. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.

The work is both independent and team-based, with support from colleagues and managers.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in people and wants to contribute with care and commitment.

• Fluent in Swedish – you master Swedish both in speech and writing and have the ability to document in a professional manner.

• Age – you must be at least 18 years old to work with us.

• Care and support education – you have completed or are currently studying in care, support, or social work (e.g., nursing assistant, nurse, occupational therapist, social worker, doctor, etc.)

• Work experience – you have experience in care, support, or service professions.

• Driver's license B – you are an experienced driver and can navigate well in traffic to visit our clients in their homes.

• Cycling experience – you are a confident and experienced cyclist.

Employment period: June, July, and/or August 2026, we require that you can work at least four consecutive weeks (but preferably longer) and there is an opportunity for extra work both before and after the summer.

Working hours:

Daytime: 07:00–15:30

Evening: 15:30–22:00

Workplace: you will start from our office in Oxelösund. We prefer that you live in or near Oxelösund to facilitate travel to and from work.
