About the job as Junior Project Manager:

As a Junior Project Manager (Subproject Manager) with our client in Karlskrona, you will be a central part of the purchasing organization. You will plan, follow up, and coordinate purchasing activities to ensure that the project's needs for materials and services are met on time. The role involves close collaboration with the project and production organization as well as the purchasing department, and you will act as an important link between internal teams and external suppliers.

Common tasks include:

• Maintain an overall focus on purchasing status within your projects.
• Prepare documentation for purchases based on project plans.
• Identify suitable suppliers together with buyers.
• Analyze material availability to minimize production issues.
• Create purchase requests and assist projects in acquiring materials and services.
• Be the point of contact between the purchasing department and other departments.
• Lead and distribute purchasing work and support with planning and logistics.
• Provide advice on contract and purchasing issues as needed.
• Follow up on budget and planning for purchases.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, structured, and enjoys working in a project environment. You have good social skills, take initiative, and find it easy to build relationships. The role requires you to be a doer who likes to be out in the projects and drive the work forward.

Additionally, we would like you to:

• Have a university degree in industrial economics, logistics, purchasing, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Be self-driven and get things done.
• Have an interest in purchasing and project management.
• Have good analytical skills and judgment.
• Enjoy collaboration and communication in different groups.
