We are looking for an experienced solution architect for a technically complex and security-critical system environment within a management support system program. The role combines strategic architectural work with operational responsibility for technical design, implementation, and verification. You need to enjoy switching between architectural principles and concrete technical execution in close proximity to production environments.

This assignment is suitable for you who want to take significant personal responsibility, quickly familiarize yourself with extensive system landscapes, and contribute both direction and delivery.

• Develop and further enhance solution architecture, architectural principles, and target architectures.
• Be responsible for technical design and support implementation, verification, and technical troubleshooting.
• Design and implement backend components and APIs in production environments.
• Drive and support system integration between multiple subsystems, including handling legacy systems and third-party APIs.
• Collaborate closely with system engineers, development teams, product owners, as well as security and regulatory functions.
• Document technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• At least 10 years of documented experience in IT architecture, system development, and/or technical leadership in complex IT environments.
• Documented experience in solution architecture in systems with high demands for availability, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Practical, verifiable experience in software development with independently developed backend components and design and implementation of APIs.
• Experience in system integration between multiple subsystems, including legacy systems, third-party APIs, middleware, or integration platforms.
• Very good knowledge of C#, C++, Python, JavaScript/NodeJS, and PowerShell.
• Experience in architectural and design work in security-classified or regulated environments, such as defense industry or critical infrastructure.
• Very good ability to document technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to undergo and be approved in a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship, dual citizenship is not permitted)

• Experience in system-of-systems architecture or distributed platforms.
• Experience in CI/CD environments and DevOps practices, including automated build and test pipelines.
• Practical experience in Linux and/or Windows-based server environments, virtualization, and/or container platforms.
• Experience in cross-functional work in agile or hybrid working methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, or V-model with agile elements).
• Previous technical overall responsibility for critical systems or platforms.
• Experience in contributing to strategic technical direction, such as technical roadmap, standardization, and architectural governance.
