As an IT Solution Architect, you will work with mission-critical systems and applications used by our operational activities as well as security and emergency preparedness organizations, making your work both challenging and significant! About the position

As an IT Solution Architect, you play a key role in bridging the business's requirements and wishes with IT, thereby contributing to digitization and system modernization. Your ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and anchor these with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be central.

The role involves close collaboration with experienced colleagues who manage and further develop our systems and IT infrastructure. You will work with issues at several levels – operational, tactical, and strategic – and support both the management organization and projects in architectural issues.

The position includes, among other things:

• Collaborating and participating in projects and management organizations
• Leading and driving the development of solutions from both a business and technical perspective
• Analyzing, developing, and suggesting improvements to current and future solution and system architecture as well as integration with a focus on security, performance, and operational reliability
• Ensuring that solutions comply with legal requirements and established standards, guidelines, and target architecture
• Participating in information classification, system classification, and risk and vulnerability analyses
• Visualizing and communicating complex technical solutions for different target groups at various levels in the organization
• Assessing the consequences of technical choices and changes in the IT landscape

As an IT Solution Architect, you formally belong to the unit for Emergency Preparedness and Security Applications, which is part of the IT organization. The unit consists of management leaders, system owners, IT specialists, and system developers who manage application operations and support for several mission-critical applications and systems. In addition to the work within the unit, you will also support other parts of the department, giving you a broad role with insight into several of our business areas.

About you

We are looking for someone who is strategic, structured, and confident in their skills. You are curious, proactive, and analytical, and see the big picture in complex development environments. You find it easy to collaborate, are pedagogical, and enjoy guiding others towards common goals. Furthermore, you are accustomed to navigating many contact points and have a desire to drive improvements and take responsibility for how development work is organized and maintained. Since the systems are critical to society, it is, of course, important that you are quality- and security-conscious. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Your background

You have an education from a university or college in computer science, system development, or similar, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. Furthermore, you have:

• Several years of relevant work experience in solution design for IT infrastructure, applications, and IT systems, including at least three years in the role of Solution Architect
• Solid and extensive experience working in complex IT environments, including, for example, virtual server and client platforms (VDI), Microsoft Windows Server/clients, and Active Directory
• Experience in designing integration solutions and interface architecture (API, messaging patterns)
• Experience working with requirements management and creating traceability between requirements and design
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.

We consider it meritorious if you have:

• Experience in security-protected operations and information security work, involving critical IT systems with high protection class
• Experience in designing and documenting architecture for isolated IT networks with high security class (Red Networks)
• Experience working in public operations
• Certified CISSP/CISM
• Experience with architecture and modeling tools, such as Sparx EA and Archi
• Experience from agile working methods and tools

• The position is located in Stockholm / Sundbyberg
• The work is primarily on-site, with the possibility of remote work up to 50% when the work allows it. #LI-hybrid.
