Experienced Engineers in Safety and Systems Security Wanted!

Combitech in Stockholm and Västerås is expanding and is now looking for experienced engineers in Safety and systems security. We are looking for someone with solid experience in technical systems who is currently working in Safety. You could be a systems developer, software developer, or have experience in developing technical systems through the design of mechanics, electronics, or hydraulics.

This is a senior role that requires you to be accustomed to communicating and navigating with both suppliers, steering groups, and other senior stakeholders. The Role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work with fantastic colleagues to help make our customers' systems and products safe.
• Work with cutting-edge technology, and together with customers and colleagues, participate in the planning and execution of the safety process to ensure that set safety requirements are met.
• Identify, analyze, and minimize the risks of a technical system through risk analyses to prevent potential accidents. You will be involved in the process from the development of a system until it is approved for use.
• Work with and apply relevant safety standards and regulations, such as the Machinery Directive, ISO 26262, and RTCA DO-178, to ensure that systems meet the highest safety requirements.
• Lead projects and work closely with customers to implement safety solutions that meet their specific needs.
• Collaborate with leading experts in the field to develop and improve safety solutions, giving you the opportunity to learn and grow in your role.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in systems development and/or software development, or automation technology.
• Experience working with standards such as ISO 26262, RTCA DO-178, or equivalent, as this demonstrates the ability to handle complex safety requirements.
• A genuine interest in developing and deepening your knowledge in systems security.
• Drive and commitment in your work.
• Project management experience.
• A desire to continuously learn and develop within the safety field to stay updated with the latest technologies and methods that promote systems security work.
• Experience with CE marking (you may have started your career in that area).

As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
