You will work in a group at the Police Authority that focuses on the development and lifecycle management of system support for the police's intelligence service, border police, and international systems.

We are now looking for a driven tester who enjoys working hands-on with products and systems used around the clock, all year round. The IT department currently consists of 1,400 employees responsible for all IT used by the authority's approximately 40,000 employees. Our office is centrally located in Norrköping, where we offer both flexible office space and flexible working hours. Currently, there is also the possibility to work from home 2 days a week.

Job Description

You will work in a positive and engaged team with system developers, testers, project leaders, technical product specialists, and requirements analysts. Our work is guided by what the team sees the product needs, what the police operations prioritize, and what is decided at the EU level together with other Schengen countries.

In this role, you will have a shared area of responsibility where, in addition to tasks and responsibilities related to testing, you will also take on the role of Scrum Master. As a tester, you may also have tasks that involve driving the work with requirements (functional and technical requirements) due to your collaboration with various parts of both the operational and IT-internal operations. You will work closely with the development team focusing primarily on technical testing, test automation, coordination of testing work, and also manual testing.

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for you who have:

· Relevant post-secondary education in IT, or equivalent acquired experience that the Police Authority assesses as equivalent

· Several years of current and relevant work experience in testing

· Work experience in test automation

· Work experience with Cucumber, Cypress, or similar tools

· Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

· Swedish citizenship

It is advantageous if you also have:

· Experience in system development in Java

· Experience working with test-driven development

· Work experience as a Scrum Master

· Experience working with Jenkins

· Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes containers

· Experience in requirements work
