Furuboda Assistans is a private assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Furuboda Association. The company was established in 2005 and is a growing business. Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a substitute personal assistant for a positive and caring 27-year-old girl living in her own apartment in Åhus. The work takes place in a flexible environment where you can be at home, in school, at various camp activities, or when she visits her family in Karlstad. To ensure her well-being, you need to be able to read situations and adjust the pace – sometimes speeding up, sometimes slowing down – depending on her daily condition and brain fatigue.

She is active and is looking for an assistant who is self-assured, spontaneous, caring, engaged, and positive. You also need to be able to take your own initiatives. Since she rides 1-2 times a week, you should not be afraid of horses, and because she trains swimming once a week, you must be able to swim and participate in the water. Home training with daily exercises is included, as well as managing all household chores together. The family has a dog, a horse, and a cat, so you need to be allergy-free.

The work shifts are structured as 24-hour shifts, which means you need to be available to work during these times.

Qualifications

It is a merit if you have experience working with acquired brain injury.

You are required to have a driver's license for a manual car as driving the client's car is part of the job.
