About the Assignment

My name is Filip, I am 33 years old and I have a neurological muscle disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 2. To briefly describe my disability, it makes my muscles weak. Therefore, I need a personal assistant to help me with daily activities such as transfers, personal care, training, etc. If I were to describe myself, I would say that I am very kind and caring. I live just outside Kristianstad with good bus connections.
My interests include reading books and learning new things; I enjoy discussing topics with my assistants. I also play chess at an intermediate level, which reflects my enjoyment of analyzing, thinking strategically, and solving problems. It is good if you appreciate that type of conversation, as it is a significant part of my daily life.

You who are applying should have a genuine interest in helping a person live their life on their own terms. We prefer that you are flexible with times, calm and secure in yourself, and thorough in your work, as it involves important routines. You will be part of a safe team. We collaborate as a team where we support each other and ensure everything works. In daily life, you will work independently with me, which makes the relationship between us important.

About the Position

Looking for a new assistant, the position is 70% on a rolling 4-week schedule

Shifts: day 7:30 AM - 3 PM, evening 3 PM - 10 PM, and weekend 12 PM - 5 PM or 5 PM - 10 PM.

We use a time reporting system. Salary according to the collective agreement with Fremia.

Qualifications:
Non-smoker
There is a cat in the home, so not allergic to pets.

The work involves transfers, so you should have a physique that can lift and assist in such moments.

Most importantly, you should be genuine and have a positive attitude towards me and your colleagues. You should be reliable and willing to contribute to a safe daily life.
