As a Junior Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling digital subscriptions to Nordiske Medier's niche industry magazines and news sites. You will contact new and existing customers, present relevant premium offers, and drive the business all the way - from the first call to the order being signed and the invoice sent. You will work closely with other Account Managers in the team, the Team Leader, and your immediate supervisor to ensure a smooth closing and sharp follow-up.
Your main responsibilities:
- Process "warm" leads and convert them into ongoing or larger subscriptions (potential customers who have tried for a month or already have a license).
- Call and book: you thrive with the phone as your primary tool and enjoy having advisory dialogues.
- Needs analysis & matching: understand the customer's everyday life and connect them to the right title/right scope.
- Follow-up and closing: drive the sales process from pitch to closed deal and secure invoicing.
- Work data-driven in CRM and keep track of the pipeline, activities, and follow-ups (Nordiske Medier uses PipeDrive).
- Collaborate with the team: share cases, tips, and customer insights.
- Goals & metrics: clear goals with a ramped-up budget in the first three months - everyone is given the same conditions.
The team: 5 AMs in Stockholm. Their KAM colleagues are in a separate team in Copenhagen but collaborate closely on subscription business. Your immediate supervisor is on-site at the office in Solna, and you will be supported daily by the Team Leader with onboarding, coaching, and close follow-up.
Who We Are Looking ForYou are hungry, service-minded, and proactive. You can see the customer's needs and explain why Nordiske Medier's solution is the right investment. We believe this role suits you if you are at the beginning of your career and have worked a few years after graduation (e.g., service jobs, customer service, or retail) and want to grow into B2B sales.
We believe you:
- Are energetic, fearless, and social - you enjoy picking up the phone and having conversations.
- Are advisory in your style: trustworthy, curious, and good at asking questions.
- Have worked with service/customer contact.
- Have previous experience working in a CRM system.
- Have a complete high school diploma.
- Speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in PipeDrive (CRM).

About the EmploymentThis is a recruitment where you will be employed directly by Nordiske Medier.
Working Conditions & Benefits:
- Start: Immediately.
- Compensation: Fixed monthly salary + commission.
- Location: At the office in Solna, Greta Garbos väg 13.
- Scope: Full-time (office hours).
- Collective agreement and 30 days of vacation.
- Wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK/year (gym is across the street - many do lunch workouts).
