Your Responsibilities

As a mechanic in paper manufacturing, you will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance of the department. The role is both practical and varied, and you will work independently as well as in a team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preventive maintenance • Repairing pumps and replacing seals • Welding in both stainless and carbon steel (MIG MAG and also TIG) • Alignment and assembly • Machining and simpler cutting work • Warehouse work and assembly

You will become part of an engaged team where everyone is involved in planning, both for the group and individually. Continuous development and improvement work is carried out, where you will have the chance to take responsibility and drive your own development. The position is during daytime.

Your Profile

Requirements for the position: • Knowledge in mechanics, warehouse work, assembly, and alignment • Experience in welding and handling lighter cutting operations • Experience in repairs, such as pumps and motors • Familiarity with workshop tools and practical work with machines and heavy tasks • Technical or industrial education is an advantage • Good ability to express yourself, both orally and in writing, in Swedish as well as basic knowledge of English

Meritorious: • Forklift license • Experience in hot work
