Alingsås aims to become Sweden's most efficient municipality. We are now building a modern contact center that will be the main gateway for the residents of Alingsås to the municipality. In connection with this, we are now looking for a service technician to complement the team working with internal services in our new municipal building.

Our new contact center is part of the IT department and will be the hub for citizen contacts – a strategic investment in accessibility and service. Here, technology, business development, and dialogue meet. The contact center should be the natural entry point for residents seeking information, service, and guidance, with modern digital tools complementing personal meetings. In the IT department, we also work with communication, creating a whole where technology, service, and information go hand in hand. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of service technician, you have a varied everyday life where your tasks range from strategic to practical. You act as a technical problem solver. Your main tasks include:

• Co-planning overall building services together with coordinators
• Digital case management and administration
• Logistics, mail handling, pallets, and other deliveries
• Technical support and development of technology
• Performing minor repairs of inventory, troubleshooting, and adjusting equipment
• Planning and purchasing together with the building manager coordinator
• Responsible for minor handyman jobs in the premises such as changing light bulbs, fixing doors, and similar tasks.
• Responsible for ensuring waste management works
• Responsible for the bicycle workshop
• Furniture relocation
• Following up on maintenance and service of equipment
• Responsible for the outdoor environment around the municipal building
• Shared responsibility for SBA
• Dialogue and cooperation with the property owner

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant post-secondary education in service, property management, IT support, or other relevant education
• Has good digital competence and experience working in various IT systems
• Experience from public administration is an advantage
• Has good communication skills in both spoken and written form, as well as good knowledge of English. Additional language skills are an advantage

The contact center will be located centrally in Alingsås with good communication opportunities. Within walking distance to the station, the small-town closeness and community combine with the commuting opportunities to Gothenburg and the rest of Västra Götaland.
