About the Position

The work involves standard tasks as a nursing assistant in a care department.

• Department 2 is a combined orthopedics/stroke department with acute and elective orthopedics as well as stroke rehabilitation.
• Department 3 is a combined surgery/urology/gynecology department with acute and elective surgery.

The care in the department is primarily characterized by short hospital stays, and we work in teams consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, a coordinating nursing assistant, rehab teams, and doctors.

We are looking for substitutes during the period of June, July, and August, either part-time or full-time. You will receive an introduction based on your experience and needs.

We offer an exciting job with various patient categories and friendly, competent colleagues. You will gain broad expertise in several different specialties if you choose to work with us. Since departments 2 & 3 collaborate a lot, it may mean that you will work in both departments, even though you will primarily have one department where you work.

The hospital is located near the center with walking distance to good transport links and close to the sea and nature in picturesque Norrtälje.

Your Tasks Include:

• Standard nursing assistant tasks in the care department

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Be a trained nursing assistant
• Alternatively, have completed term 4 of the Nursing Program
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Knowledge of working in TakeCare
• Experience in emergency care

As you will be replacing regular staff, we expect you to be self-sufficient and able to ask for help when needed. We see that you have good collaboration skills as the team consists of several different professions and personalities. In challenging situations, you are calm, stable, and controlled, focusing on the right things.
