We work with support and care for the elderly and for people with disabilities. The goal is for them to live as active and independent lives as possible.

The Health and Care Administration is one of Sweden's largest employers in municipal care and support. Here, approximately 7,500 employees work based on our values – making a difference, working together, and welcoming innovation. With us, there are great opportunities to take responsibility, develop, and contribute with your expertise. We strive for an organizational culture based on trust and pride in our work.

Within the Health and Care Administration, we have full-time as the norm. This means that all permanent employees fundamentally have a full-time position. More information about what this means for this position will be provided during a potential interview. Exceptions from full-time as the norm are personal assistants.

We are looking for someone who wants to help create security, structure, and quality. Do you want to work in an organization that is constantly evolving? At Linné, we work closely in teams, with clear working methods and a strong focus on interaction. As a nursing assistant with team leader responsibility, you will be a key person in creating order, continuity, and a safe working environment for both residents and colleagues. We warmly welcome your application!

Linné is a special accommodation (SÄBO) within Uppsala Municipality with both a dementia department and a care department, where four of the places are used for respite care. Our mission is to offer safe, person-centered, and professional care and support, tailored to each resident's individual needs.

Work at Linné is characterized by close teamwork, clear working methods, and a strong focus on quality and interaction. In the respite care places, you will meet residents during shorter stays, which means a varied job with a focus on secure introductions, structure, and good collaboration with relatives and other stakeholders. As a nursing assistant with team leader responsibility, you play an important role in contributing to structure, continuity, and security in everyday life – for both residents and colleagues.

As a team leader, you primarily work daytime and every other weekend. The work is divided so you will work within care half the day. Remote work is not possible, as the position requires work on-site in the organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Person-centered care based on the residents' needs
  • Support and guidance to colleagues in daily work
  • Coordination and structure in the workgroup
  • Participation in ensuring that routines and working methods are followed and developed
  • Collaboration with managers, nurses, and other professionals
  • Contribute to a good work environment and a professional approach
  • The team leader role does not involve personnel or budget responsibility, but a clear responsibility in daily operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title according to the requirements of the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have experience in care and are accustomed to leading groups. The work requires good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

To fit the role, you enjoy collaborating with others and have the ability to relate to people in a responsive and flexible manner. You listen actively, communicate clearly, and handle conflicts in a constructive and solution-oriented way. In your leadership role, you motivate and provide others with the conditions and authority needed to achieve common goals together. You easily coordinate groups, create engagement, and contribute to participation, and you often serve as a natural reference point for others. We are looking for someone who thinks strategically, has a broad perspective, and understands issues in a larger context. You see long-term consequences and adjust your actions accordingly.
