About the Position

The work includes standard duties as a licensed nurse in a care department.

• Department 2 is a combined orthopedics/stroke department with acute and elective orthopedics as well as stroke rehabilitation.
• Department 3 is a combined surgery/urology/gynecology department with acute and elective surgery.

The care in the departments is primarily characterized by short hospital stays, and we work in teams consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, coordinating nursing assistants, rehabilitation teams, and doctors.

We are looking for substitutes during the period of June, July, and August, part-time/full-time. You will receive an introduction tailored based on experience and needs.

We offer an exciting job with various patient categories and friendly colleagues. You will gain broad competence in several different specialties if you choose to work with us. Since departments 2 & 3 collaborate a lot, it may mean that you will work in both departments, even though you will primarily work in one department.

The hospital is located near the center, within walking distance to good transport links and close to the sea and nature in picturesque Norrtälje.

You will gain greater knowledge of the entire chain of care and support, which in turn provides better conditions for taking overall responsibility for all care and support around the patient. You choose in the selection questions which department you wish to apply to. We apply shift work.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Be a licensed nurse
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Knowledge of working in TakeCare
• Experience in emergency care

Since you will be replacing regular staff, we see that you are self-sufficient and can ask for help when needed. We expect you to have good teamwork skills as the team consists of various professions and personalities. In challenging situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled while focusing on the right things.
