Make a Real Difference Together with Miva

At Miva, we work for a sustainable society – every day.

Our constant presence with nature and people gives us a great responsibility and an important role in a functioning cycle. Water is our most important resource, and our mission is to ensure that it works – today and in the future.

The water and sewage business area is responsible for ensuring that the majority of residents in Örnsköldsvik municipality always have access to clean water, and that our rivers, lakes, and seas are protected from pollution. We meet society's needs for water services with a focus on high delivery reliability and community benefit in dialogue with our surroundings.

Do you want to lead community-critical projects that shape the sustainable water infrastructure of the future?

Do you want to work in an industry where your efforts are directly noticeable and contribute to something greater? Then you might be the project manager we are looking for.

Projects that Shape Örnsköldsvik

Within our project unit, many different planning and construction projects are underway. Some projects are in an early stage where construction starts a few years down the line, while others are being built here and now. We are an important player in the work to develop the city of Örnsköldsvik with a new district by 2030, in accordance with the municipality's future vision. Additionally, we are expanding municipal water and sewage in areas that currently have individual facilities.

We also face significant future challenges with climate change, maintenance of aging facilities, and new regulations and legal requirements, so we need you who want to help shape the sustainable water infrastructure for all of Örnsköldsvik.

Your Responsibilities

As a project manager within the Project and Investigation unit, you will have a central and strategic role in leading Miva's water projects from feasibility study to completed facility. You will become an important link between our own operations staff, external contractors, authorities, and municipal residents.

You will lead projects according to our project model and use the company's established working methods and digital tools to ensure project delivery with the right quality, cost, and time.

Who Thrives with Us?

Here, you thrive if you want a role with both a holistic perspective and decisiveness. You enjoy leading projects forward, taking responsibility, and creating structure – while being attentive, collaborative, and confident in your decisions.

We value that you are:

  • Responsible, clear, and organized
  • Solution-oriented and accustomed to prioritizing
  • Skilled at building relationships and creating good dialogue
