In the role of pipe layer at MittSverige Vatten & Avfall, you will belong to the Network unit responsible for the operation and maintenance of our water, sewage, and stormwater pipelines.

Your Contribution as a Pipe Layer

As a pipe layer, you have an important task to ensure that our maintenance work is carried out as efficiently as possible with our customers in focus. Our work orders and fault reports are managed in the Idus maintenance system, and your main task will be to perform construction work generated in the work order system.

Main Tasks:

• Perform construction work.
• Execute, create, and acknowledge work orders in the work order management system.
• Create fault reports in the work order management system.
• Document and report deviations for construction information.
• Operational contacts with customers and partners.

On-call duty may be included in the position.

Your Competence and Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education in construction or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer.
• Holds a B driver's license.
• Good computer skills.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in similar work within the water and sewage industry, construction, and/or civil engineering, as well as experience in welding PE pipes, working on roads, and being responsible for marking.
• Possession of a C and/or BE driver's license.

You are a person who can and enjoys working both independently and in collaboration with others. You have a pronounced sense of responsibility and service and are happy to take your own initiatives in your work. The tasks also require you to be analytical and have a good sense of order. You enjoy physical and active work and see the charm in working outdoors in varying weather conditions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability!
