We are looking for a Project Manager Railway for Trafikverket. 

This is a consulting assignment that can be performed at Trafikverket's offices in Östersund, Sundsvall, or Härnösand.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As a Project Manager Electrical/Signal Railway within Trafikverket's unit IVnrj2, you are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on railway projects in the Northern region (Jämtland and Västernorrland counties). The role involves leading project work in collaboration with the client, project organization, and external resources, as well as ensuring that the project is carried out according to governing documents, time, cost, content, quality, safety, work environment, and environment. You also contribute with technical advice and transfer knowledge to Trafikverket's employees.

Responsibilities

In consultation with the client, distribute, execute, and follow up on project work in accordance with governing documents. Together with the project organization and central support resources, initiate, prepare, and be responsible for the implementation and follow-up of the project concerning time, cost, content, quality, safety, work environment, and environment. Establish necessary timelines for the project in collaboration with other project participants and suppliers. Prepare calculations and budgets according to established procedures for the project. Be responsible for establishing necessary agreements with external stakeholders and interested parties. Ensure that necessary operational meetings are held, such as production meetings, construction meetings, financial meetings, technical meetings, and design meetings. Lead periodic project meetings. Perform the work in collaboration and under the direction of the client. Follow up and drive the project to meet requirements for time, cost, and content. Ensure that norms, facility requirements, and regulations (general or client's) are followed by the designer and/or performer. Assist with technical advice.

Requirements (Mandatory)

University education, technical orientation, at least 180 credits (120 points), or equivalent knowledge deemed equivalent by the client. The technical knowledge must be within electrical or signal technology in the railway sector. Must have completed training to function as the Client's construction work environment coordinator, Bas-P, and Bas-U (scope at least according to the recommendation from the Swedish Work Environment Authority, scope 48h). Must be able to express oneself well in Swedish both orally and in writing. Hold a valid B driver's license. You should have knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and regulations in relevant areas, such as electrical safety, traffic safety, work environment, and environment. You should have completed BASÄSKYDD (SoS leader) and conducted annual repetition (authorization must be current). At least 5 years of work experience as a project manager or in a supervisory/management role from railway projects involving EST work. The supervisory/management role must have been from either Electrical or Signal (or combined). Work experience must not be older than 8 years. Experience from at least 2 contracts with responsibility for electrical or signal (individual technical area or combined), either as a project manager or from a supervisory/management role. Assignments must have been performed in the last 8 years and with a contract sum of at least 30 million SEK. At least 5 years of experience in contract follow-up and work with consulting and construction law (AB, ABT, ABK, AMA, MER, RA). Experience in financial management and forecasting. Experience in conducting production planning of railway contracts to determine the need for times in the track.
