Your mission

You now have the opportunity to join us in building up the Pediatric Dentistry Department in Handen, which has been dormant for a few years.

Within Folktandvården Stockholm, we currently have Pediatric Dentistry clinics in Eastman, Södertälje, Sollentuna, and Handen. In total, we are about 45 employees who, starting in 2026, will be divided into two different clinic managements. As an employee in Handen, you will belong to the clinic management that also oversees the Sollentuna clinic and anesthesia operations. The two clinic managements for Pediatric Dentistry will work closely together and jointly be responsible for the Pediatric Dentistry operations within Folktandvården in Region Stockholm.

As a dental nurse with us, you will work with children and adolescents with a variety of care needs. Our different types of treatments involve taking care of referred patients with severe caries, dental anxiety, dental developmental disorders, accidents, surgical needs, as well as children with chronic illnesses and various disabilities. Your tasks will also include performing various treatments under anesthesia together with the dentist at Danderyd Hospital and Astrid Lindgren Children's Hospital. The broad range of treatments allows us to offer you a varied and highly stimulating job with good opportunities for further development. Your responsibilities will include: assistance, sterilization work, ordering dental products, patient booking, and referral administration.

Your background

You are a trained dental nurse with a few years of experience. You are used to making your own decisions, are driven, self-sufficient, and motivated to develop a clinic. You find it easy to collaborate and are flexible, calm, and have a good attitude. You enjoy your profession and have experience and a genuine interest in children and adolescents.

You have excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms. Computer proficiency is a requirement. Experience with T4 is an advantage. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Employment

Welcome with your application by February 4, 2026. The position is a permanent employment. A probationary period may occur, and the start date will be agreed upon. Selection is ongoing. We will take references from your clinic manager if you have been/are employed with us.

Before the interview, you need to provide proof of your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to show a valid work permit or documentation that shows you are exempt from the requirement. To be eligible for employment, a successful new hire screening is also required.
