We need your help as a nursing assistant to ensure excellent care and support for our patients during the summer.

With us, you have the opportunity to work within the hospital's various VO Care in the acute care departments in the summer of 2026. You will receive structured onboarding upon your employment, which includes 1-2 days of introduction with training at KTC (Clinical Training Center). Onboarding in the unit where you will work starts in May on weekends so that you have the opportunity to get into the work and get to know your colleagues.

Nursing Assistant this Summer at Södertälje Hospital, VO Care:

In the role of a nursing assistant with us this summer, you will primarily take care of patient-centered care together with the rest of the team.

We are mainly looking for nursing assistants in the following areas this summer:

• C5 Medicine – Stroke focus
• E3 Medicine
• E4 Medicine – Cardiology focus
• E5 Surgery/Gynecology
• E6 Orthopedics/Urology

Your Personal Qualities:

Being service-oriented is a quality we value, so it is important that you are meticulous, humble, and have a good attitude towards our patients and your colleagues. You can work in a structured manner and have the ability to be flexible and reprioritize your tasks when needed. Rapid changes in pace place high demands on good teamwork and communication, so good collaboration skills within the team are important.

Your Qualifications:

• Proof of protected professional title as a nursing assistant.
• Nursing student in semester 4 or higher in the nursing program. You will then be employed as a care assistant.
• Medical student in semester 5 or higher in the medical program. You will then be employed as a care assistant.

Other Qualifications:

• You have a good ability to communicate in writing and orally in Swedish.
• You should be available during weeks 25-35, in addition to your onboarding. You should be onboarded and ready to work independently by week 25.

Meritorious:

It is meritorious if you have experience in emergency care.

Employment Type:

Hourly employment. You will be assigned a schedule and will work shifts and every other weekend. Please note that you need to be available for work during weeks 25-35.
