Background

Our client in Stockholm currently has an existing fiber solution that is outdated and no longer meets our requirements for speed and capacity. The premises are in an older building, which may present specific challenges during installation and places high demands on accuracy and experience.

Assignment Description

The assignment involves carrying out new fiber installations from two existing cross-connect cabinets to a server room in another part of the premises. The fiber will be terminated in a new fiber panel in the server room.

The work also includes:

• Installation of a new fiber panel in both cross-connect cabinets
• The panels should have outlets for 8 fiber pairs (16 fibers)
• The fiber should be of the single-mode type and support at least 10 Gbit/s
• The existing older fiber should not be dismantled or removed

This is a consulting assignment. You will be employed by us at A-Talent Tech. Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as a network technician
• Documented competence in fiber installation in older existing properties

Requested Competence Level

• Knowledge: very good generalist or specialist competence
• Experience: Participated in larger assignments across several areas and delivered with very high quality.
• Leadership: Takes primary responsibility for leading larger groups
• Independence: Very high
