About the position

As a nursing assistant/care assistant in the Intensive Care Unit, you will care for critically ill patients. The work with us includes the usual tasks of a nursing assistant/care assistant. You will work in a team primarily with experienced nursing colleagues but also in close collaboration with nurses and doctors. With us, you will work days, evenings, and weekends. We are looking for substitutes during the period from June to August. The degree of employment can be discussed. We offer a tailored introductory training.

Your tasks include:

Care work
Monitoring vital parameters, sampling, wound dressings, and mobilization.
Documentation in our journal systems

About you

For this position, you need to:

Be a trained nursing assistant or have completed three semesters of nursing studies or five semesters of medical studies
Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
Be familiar with data and systems

It is an advantage if you also have:

Experience in emergency care
Experience working in a hospital

As you will be replacing regular staff, we expect you to be self-sufficient and able to ask for help when needed. We see that you have good collaboration skills as the team consists of various professions and personalities. In challenging situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled while focusing on the right things.
