District Nurse/Nurse at Valbo Din Hälsocentral

Valbo Din Hälsocentral is one of the larger health centers in the region, with approximately 9300 registered patients. We currently have around 40 employees who together provide primary care with medical consultations, nursing consultations, child health care, psychosocial team, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and home care. Preventive work is important to us; what we can prevent today makes it easier in the future.

The operation will become part of Region Gävleborg Din Hälsocentral AB, the company for publicly operated health and child care centers in Gävleborg. The transition will take place on February 1, 2026. Together we want to develop and shape primary care and create a good working environment for managers and employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a district nurse/nurse at Valbo Din Hälsocentral, you will work closely with other professionals and meet patients of all ages and with various needs. In addition to our primary care, we also have specialist clinics for diabetes, hypertension, and asthma/COPD. Here you will work in a varied and stimulating environment with a focus on patient-centered care and preventive work.

• scheduled consultations
• acute visits
• telephone advice
• digital care meetings via Min vård Gävleborg.

QUALIFICATIONS

You remain calm even under pressure and have confidence in your ability to handle challenges. You have good collaboration skills and are eager to help others. You are a problem solver with the ability to see the big picture and quickly identify connections.

In the role of district nurse/nurse, you should:

• be a licensed nurse
• hold a valid B driver's license.

If you are a trained district nurse and/or have completed diabetes training, it is an advantage for the position.
