We need to strengthen Westerqwarn with an additional key role.

We are now looking for an OPERATIONS MANAGER – who will be the second in command to our restaurant manager and an important part of keeping the operations, team, and our events/bookings together.

Westerqwarn is a vibrant destination with a restaurant, events, banquet hall, and conferences. The pace can be high, but we love what we do – and we are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility when a lot is happening.

This is a role for you who enjoys being in the middle of the operation, working hands-on while having an overall perspective.

You need to be a confident person, have leadership qualities, and be able to delegate tasks, organize, and get the team to work towards the same goals.

About the role

As an operations manager, you will be:

• The closest operational support to the restaurant manager

• On-site & working in the daily operations

• A supervisor during service and events

• A key person to ensure both daily operations and bookings run smoothly

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily operations

• Be a supervisor & work in service

• Make decisions on the spot and solve operational issues

• Handle banquet bookings and conferences practically

• Guest contact regarding bookings, preparations, and execution

• Plan and execute both larger and smaller events

• Ensure staffing, flow, and logistics

• Small fixes and details that make a big difference in guest experience

• Be a sounding board for improvements

• Handy in setting up, fixing, and preparing venues for service, events, and bookings

We are looking for someone who

• Has several years of experience in restaurants, events, or similar

• Is confident in a leadership role and used to a fast pace

• Enjoys responsibility and working hands-on

• Is solution-oriented, structured, and unpretentious

• Likes to make things work & happen – not just talk about them

Scope

The position is full-time, and we apply a probationary period.
